Adding resale to current membership? (UPDATED)

Update - Contract was added to my current contract yesterday and points are in my account today. Offer was made and accepted on 5/24, closed 7/2 and points in my account today, so about a month and a half start to finish, not too bad.

I just called member admin and they told me that because I purchased a resale it would not be added to my account and that I would have two different member numbers.

The CM at member services was wrong - I got an email today that we had closed and when I just looked at my account the add on is there! Now I can book my trip for next spring!

Thanks, our original purchase was resale, then we did 2 add ons thru Disney so this was our first resale addon as well and I really did not want two member numbers.
