Adding requests to trip booked online

Hi. When booking online, is there a place to enter requests, such as location? If so, I must have missed it. Do I now need to call to add any such requests to an existing reservation?

The reservation process does not allow for location requests. The online check in process (available at 60 days from arrival date) does have limited location requests.

You can contact MS (phone, chat or email) to have any requests noted on the reservation.
 
Ok, thanks. No wonder I couldn’t find it! I thought I misssed the spot to type in any requests. Member services it is then. I must have been thinking of the online check in screens.

If you make a request through member services, make sure to verify it around 30 days out. I’ve had request not make it onto the reservation (It was for bed rails and I got it filled through concierge).

Good advice. I remember once I called and gave the rep my requests. A few days later I called to amend one of the requests, and the new person I was talking to said there weren’t any requests on my reservation! She then added them for me.
 
For location, I recommend using Touring Plans Room Request. They fax your request 5 days before check-in. Could be coincidence but I've gotten almost the exact room I requested, two years in a row.
