Husband and I are going with 6 other people. I hope to get them all on my DAS, as we will be in ever changing small groups—I’ll never be on a ride with more than 2-3 of them—but I’ve only ever done 5. A friend told me they didn’t care how many he had on the DAS, but some rides didn’t allow more than 6, something I won’t be doing anyway.

Well, all of them will be leaving on different days and in the evenings we will be with another couple who live in Orlando. Is it easy to just change my guests each day?

Yes it is easy to add people to your DAS. you should be ok just let the CM at the ride know who is riding and make sure they get the right perso(s) .

I'd be curious to know more about this. Now that DAS is done with the Magic Band, I didn't think the system would let you register more than 6 Magic Bands on it but I've never tried.

I thought it was possible to have more than 6 people linked to a DAS, but the actual return-times would be limited to just DAS-holder+5. So ability to split a larger party and choose/alternate who rides with whom. But we haven’t been with a large party since DAS went digital, so I can’t speak from direct experience.

Enjoy your vacation!

It is possible to have more than 6 (5 plus the person with a disability)
6 is the usual number; anything over that is an exception and may need a supervisor/lead to authorize and you may be asked why you need that many.
Easiest is one or 2 over, especially if the majority are children - they are not going to tell people they need to leave one out in situations like 2 parents with 5 children or 2 parents plus 4 kids and grandma.

There may be attractions where the CM is not able to put more than 6 for the DAS Return Time.

Thank you this is what I had heard as well. Unfortunately my situation isn’t with kids but is just awkward. It’s me and my husband, my in-law’s, and two sets of aunts/uncles, one of which has put us on their vacation club villa as guests despite staying off property, so that we got fast passes early and get free parking. So it would leave me having to not include one set which is so awkward.

I’ll probably take one aunt/uncle off for the evening if they won’t let me add my two friends without removing anyone, then the next day I’ll remove the friends and add my aunt/uncle back.
