Adding pre-2005 ticket to MDE

I've been holding onto 2 circa-2000 tickets for 18 years now, each with just 1 day left on them. I figured we'd never really get to use them, but now I find myself potentially taking a trip with just 1 day in a park later this year. Has anyone ever been able to get a ticket that old added to their MDE account so they could book FastPasses in advance, or should I just prepare myself to have to do it when I arrive at the resort and give up any advance FP reservations?

We had 1-day tickets from 2004, and we were able to add them to MDE but we had to do it at Guest Relations or ticket counter at WDW. That was in 2016.

There's no doubt that they will be able to add the ticket to MDX.
It can (as you said) be done in-person at WDW.
But, it's possible that they might be able to do so in advance from home, with the proper help of
Disney ticketing.

Its certainly worth a phone call since Disney has created a situation where booking advance FP+ is a near "necessity" for certain rides.

Agree that it's definitely worth the call. I wasn't sure if anyone had actually done it. I looked at the tickets and there doesn't seem to be much in the way of identifying information on them (in terms of a number), so my sense is that it might be a challenge. Still, I might be willing to give up the advance FP since we're just going to Epcot, primarily for Food and Wine, and I'm going back to WDW a few months later anyway. $120 saved is significant.
