Adding points min 25 then how many

Want to add on to points at KV I know 25 is the min but is it 5 point increments after that? Or can you do odd numbers?

There is no set increment.

As long as you are 25 points or more in any one single add on, then you can add any number of points you can imagine, up to 2000 total points to own at a single resort and 5000 points to own total.

You can add 25 points, 100 points, 212 points, 36 points, 999 "happy haunt" points, whatever.

What ever you wish. Most of mine are in a 5 pt increment but I do have a 48 and a 52.

Be careful when selecting your magic number. DVC has changed the point requirements twice in the last several months. Many members bought what they thought were enough points are now either short or have too many.

We were just at BLT last week and attended BLT tour and presentation. They said that the maximum points a member can own per resort has increased to 4,000. I was too shocked to ask what the total point had gone up to.

Yep, any number...That's why we own a 69 point contract at AKV.

This is good advice. Do not get too hung up on purchasing the "exact" amount as Bill says. I would ball park what you would like to have ideally and round up just a bit. That is what I did with my initial purchase years back and it worked well for me. Then I just kept adding and adding, lol..

I second this, our 35 points at BLT is no longer enough for what we originally planned, but then we're able to be flexible so it's not too big a deal. For other people it might be so definitely worth bearing in mind.

No, I believe it means you can add on 25 points, or 27 points, or 39 points, etc...a 25 point add-on is the minimum allowed.
