adding pics???

hi guyes this is a silly question but you know the little rectangle on the side of posts that somepeople have pics in.ou know where you go to send a pm. how do i add a pic to that??

You are talking about the little picture under the user name, right? There should be a Marie the cat under my user name.

To change it or add one, you go to User CP and click on Edit Avatar. You can then use on of the DIS pre-selected Avatars or add your own. I have Marie the Cat that I uploaded myself just like a signature photo. Make sure you click "Save Changes" when you're done. HTH!

thank you for responding. but, it keeps saying that i excedd the size limit. i took one of my pics and made it avator size (that is what the computer calls it it is 100 by 80 ) which is in the limit. why wont it work??

the dimensions of my pic are 170x130 if that helps! i've tried to re-size things in photobucket to avatar size and it never works for me...

The avatar size limits are really picky...

It could be the pixel size is right now, but the file size is too big. Can you post the picture here and we can try to resize it for you?
