Adding person to reservation on website

Earlier this week I went on the website to add a person to a reservation. Before the final ok I got a pop up saying something to the effect of this may effect fast pass+ or Magical express reservations. Assuming Disney doesn’t actually have a working time machine, could this possibly effect anything that currently exists, like a park reservation?

You will have to make the park reservations for the person you added but otherwise there shouldn't be any impact.

Confused, how can it effect Magical express reservations if Disney doesn't do bus transportation (DME) anymore?

No, it wouldn't affect anything already existing.

It's just that (big surprise!) DVC hasn't updated that part of the website to delete that automatic popup.
