Adding person to ADR

I have ADR's for lunch at Le Cellier and the Plaza for five people in mid December. My ds's gf may be going along now. Will I be able to add her without a problem? I already had to change them once because dd's bff was added to our trip.I know how difficult they are to get at Le Cellier now. I would hate to have to cancel and start over. Advice would be appreciated!

First, call Disney Dining and ask, but do not cancel your existing ressie unless they show availability for your "new" party of 6.

If they say "Sorry, I have no tables for 6", don't panic, and don't cancel. Usually, parties bumping from an odd to an even (3 to 4, 5 to 6 , etc.) will be accomodated when they check in at the restaurant, as the tables probably are already able to accept that sort of upgrade. However, it would be a bigger problem increasing from 2 to 3, 4 to 5, or 6 to 7 diners, as they would actually have to change tables.

I totally agree with Chuck S and recommend you follow his suggestions.
Also, don't worry about it.......it should (and will) work out fine.

I also agree with Chuck S's advice. Going from 5 to 6 should not be a problem.

Call if they say okay, no problem- Great

If they say they cant accomodate it.
I would show up with six the day of ressie.

I have the same problem going in december but i am actually going from 6 to 7 people. Call disney - with Le cellier I had no problem going from 6 to 7 since the table are for 4 anyways...as for the rest of my ressies the cm told me to show up about 10 minutes earlier then normal and let them know an extra person would be dining with you and you should not have any problems. I still worry about the fantasmic dinner package we have for 6 at h&V but we will give it a go anyways...

We went in May and were dining at Alfredo's. 2 of our friends were down there the same time as us and wanted to join us for dinner. We asked when we arrived for our ADR and he said no problem, he would change it to 4. He was very accommodating.

Thanks everyone. I'm going to take your advice and try calling first. If they say no problem, great. If they say no, I'll just try and add her when I get there.
