Adding people to Reservation.

I booked a room at SSR for a friend through RCI. Only his name was listed on the reservation and his wife and daughter were left off. I am assuming that he can easily add thier names to the reservation at check in since it will not go over any occupancy limits. I don't want them to have any problems getting KTTW cards.

The front desk will not be able to modify the reservation to add names, you probably should contact RCI to see what needs to be done to get them added.

Once they have a reservation number, they're permitted to call DVC Member Services regarding the reservation. I'd recommend coordinating the change with MS prior to arrival.

MS may not be able to modify the reservation to correct the names since it's an inbound RCI exchange.

If the OP put the reservation in the other familes name when it was initially made with RCI, that should be okay.

Not an expert, but I think if you're adding people in addition to the person whose name is on the certificate, I don't think it's a violation of RCI's rules. But because of that whole issue, it may be a touchy subject that might have caused a special agreement between RCI and DVC. Hadn't thought about that aspect.

I have an RCI reservation. Call MS and they can look up the reservation by the person's last name. Then they can add other guests, DME, DDP, whatever. Initially our reservation was just our names, we called and added the kids, then called again to add my in laws. It takes a little more time because its through RCI (per a CM at MS), but it's not a problem.
