Adding people on to booking.... partner hotels?

Hi myself and dd6 are going alone in oct. Im starting to feel a bit nervous and ive a feeling OH and DD 14 may change their minds and want to go, or I may ask my mum to come.
I have booked the Kyriad, has anyone added extra people to the room on arrival in any of the partner hotels and how much did it cost?
Ive emailed the hotel but no reply.

Do you know what room you have booked at the Kyriad ? When I made our October booking it was for a standard twin room (I requested 2 single beds), so the only thing that would worry me is that you've been allocated a similar room, in which case if the hotel is full with no 4 bed rooms available it would be a problem - standard Disney hotel rooms are meant for 4, so don't pose the same problem.

Agree with Jll that it all depends on what you've booked, if you've only booked a double room there could be a problem as the room capacity may only be 2. If the room capacity is 4 then there wouldn't be. When we used to stay at the Explorers we used to book a 6 bed room for 5 of us, they only ever asked the lead name on the booking and never knew how many were coming until we arrived.

ETA: Just done a dummy booking for two adults and for the dates I put in it lets me book a choice of a double room, a family room with a double and two singles, or a family with four singles. The latter two rooms are a few euros more. If I were you I'd book the family with the double and two singles, it's only a few euros more and you'd at least have peace of mind that if they do decide to come they'll have a bed and if they don't you'll have your own!

Things havechanged now, my cousin and her daughter are going to join us (newbies) so im going to change my booking to suit 4, saving myself money in the process

Ah we leave late on 29 only a flying visit this time as it was only going to be the 2 of us
