Hi,

I will be booking my trip on credit card, I don't want to put so much on it, so in saving a couple hundred of dollars, I will be just buying the 8 day base ticket, and than when I get to Disney pay cash for park hopper and plus options. Is this possible? Can you upgrade when you get there? Or is is just better to book it ahead of time? Will it cost the same price? Or do I save a couple some money booking the plus options ahead of time. Thanks for your help :sunny:

There is no difference in price on an 8 day base ticket whether purchased in advance or at WDW. The advance purchase price comes in when either the park hopper or water parks options are added to the ticket. If you purchase an 8 day with PH and WPF&M that expires 14 days after first use in advance, it will cost you $296.08 tax included. If you wait and purchase it at WDW, the same ticket will cost you $315.26. So you're looking at about a $19 difference per ticket.

You can upgrade your ticket at your Disney resort's Lobby Concierge desk or at any Guest Relations location at the theme parks or DTD. If you buy the base ahead of time and upgrade at WDW, you will not get the advance prices.
