If you add on points do they have the same use year as your original points, and are they available for use right away?

Yes, you give them the deposit on your CC and you can book with the points.
They will only sell you a small add on with the same UY as you currently have. Now, if they don't have the points, then you're on a waitlist and so you must wait.

PS. If you want 160 or more, you can have a different UY if you want, it will be a different contract. Otherwise, the points, with the same UY are your original contract number then .1, .2...as many add ons as you have. (We are up to .9)
