Dumb question probably!
But I bought SSR in 2005 direct from DVC
if I add on with a resale at the same resort same use year.
Will they new points be added into my original contract with DVC?
If not I assume they will be a different contact and I can only use the points at SSR, and OKW! Right???

No, it will be a new contract, but under the same member number. You will have two contracts.

They will be unqualified points, which means you can only use them for the original 14 DVC resorts, but not Riviera or Reflections, and not for cruises or point exchanges. They will be eligible for deposit in RCI.

Be sure to title exactly the same as your original contract, same name (s) same order, same home addres... or you might end up with a new master contract number.

As mentioned the new contract can be added to your existing membership as long as it is the same UY and titled exactly the same. Nothing about that has changed. Online it'll show both contracts for you to seelct from when booking SSR during the home priority window or any of the original 14 resorts if you're booking 7 months or less. If you wanted to book at Riviera any new resort that has yet to open or to trade out to the Disney collection etc (usually a bad use of points) then you could only use points from your original contract.

I'm a little curious why you thought it would be restricted to SSR and OKW? Mostly why OKW if the contract is at SSR? Something you were told or just a misunderstanding from what you've read on the restrictions?

I didn’t realize it was all 14 original resorts thought just those two! Why? I dunno just assumed because SSR was least preferred and OKW was least points!?????
