Adding on club at check-in question

If you book a standard room and then add club at check-in does that change what room you were going to be in or do you just add it and have to walk to where the lounge is? Just wondering if it is better to book it before to be closer to the lounge. Thanks

i have not met anyone that did an add on to club at hrh.
doesn't mean it hasn't happened, just not aware of it there.

i have heard of some guests that are able to do the club add on for the lounge offerings at pbh though.
