Toiletries Package, $5 - 1 facial soap, 1 bath soap, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 shower gel
Coffee Package, $3 - 1 package of coffee, 8 sugars, 8 creamers, 8 artificial sweeteners
Towel Package, $6 - 4 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 4 washcloths, 1 bath mat
Laundry Detergent (only in 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom Vacation Homes), $1 - 1 box"
thanks guys!! so am i correct in saying that with a studio, if I wasnt cleaning and towel changes, it would be 45? The cleaning and towel changes are separate charges?
Add to this the fact that the last time I stayed at Kidani, the stove top was dirty with cooked on grime and the counter tops weren't all that clean either. It was as if somebody had done a quick once over with a wet cloth, not really trying to clean the surfaces.Disprincess, the bigger issue is that there are way better things to use your money on when at WDW than extra housekeeping. I know you think that you will want to spend this money. Trust me, you don't (unless you pay for a housekeeper to clean your home every day in regular life.)
The rooms just don't get that dirty- if your kid spills cereal, there is a vacuum. And if you bring along some Clorox wipes, cleaning the counter top takes literally a couple minutes.
DVC is more like a home away from home. I disliked the idea of the reduced housekeeping before buying DVC. Now that I've gotten used to it, I prefer to skip daily housekeeping in regular hotels as well. It's really nice not having someone in your room every day.
Also remember that the housekeeping schedule is based on "days," not "nights." So, you'll get trash and towel service after three nights (four days).
So if I check in on a Wednesday, "day 4" would be Saturday?
