I made all of our August ADRs for my family and now my MIL and FIL MIGHT be coming with us for a few days of our trip. They aren't 100 percent sure they are coming and now I'm stuck on should i make new reservations? Can i just call and add them 2 more to more existing reservation? They don't understand that they can't just show up with us and expect them to sit with us. I told them Disney isn't like the way it used to them when they went. What have you done when in this situation? :(

A friend of mine has been calling to try to add 2 people to an existing dining reservation and every CM has told her no, that it can't be done anymore. I guess just see if there's availability for your new party number?

When we booked our vacation, I booked for my wife, 2 kids, and I. Later on my parents decided to vacation with us. So I had to call and try and add 2 extra people to our ADR. In all cases they ended up having to cancel all my reservations and rebook them at a time when a table was avaliable that was big enough to accommodate our party size. So i wouldnt leave it to long if you can avoid it, especially if you have special dining plans ie.. character meals planned.. I hope this helps you a little bit. Enjoy your vacation!! :firefight
