Adding gift cards

We have a short stay coming up 3 nights- and I have 300.00 gift cards that I would like to put towards fast passes/ genie plus. Can I go to front desk and make a payment with the cards so they don’t all hit my credit card any time? Or not until charges have been started? I know statements don’t settle that quick but can I still apply the cards after I make the purchase?

According to others you should be able to purchase genie plus in the app with the gift cards. Just combine them first at disneygiftcard.com and then delete them from the site.

Then type the gift card number and pin into a notepad on your phone so you can copy and paste.

You can't charge G+/ILL to your room. You can pay in the app with gift cards for them. I like to type my gc number into a note so I can copy paste into the app.

You can apply gift cards to any charges on your hotel room charge account at any time after they post which is usually fairly quick. Just go up to the front desk and tell them you want to pay your account charges with your gift card.

I think I know this answer- I just got a new disney card and I have rewards. Is the only way to get access to these rewards to order a card by mail- not electronically? We are leaving in a couple days and I think I missed the mark to order in advance.

You can pick up a Rewards Redemption Card at Guest Services at Disney Springs or in the parks. Then you can transfer the funds by phone. It's pretty simple.

Pointing out that if you "just" got the Disney Visa, 1) your reward points won't post until your statement date and 2) you must have a minimum amount of reward points (maybe $20?) as an initial transfer.

How can you buy ILL with a gift card without getting the circle of death and losing your original ILL time? I know that it say "pay another way" where you can put in a GC but each time I tried that I would get the circle of death and then lose the original time that I wanted for ILL, Anyone have any tricks?

No trick to it. I paid for ILL a few times earlier this month with a gift card and didn’t have any trouble at all. Reserved the spot I selected every time.

Did you have any luck getting a card on site?

Remember once you do have a card to hold on to it.
If you have a card in your possession you can transfer Disney $$ from your account starting at $10 instead of $20 if ordering a new card.
