Adding extra side with mobile order pickup

Can you ask for an extra side when picking up mobile orders? There's not an option to add a side of Mac and Cheese or Fruit on mobile order. We'll have 3 meals and just need something to keep the little guy happy. I'd love to reserve a time with mobile order and add something for him at the window. I read where you have to have a mobile order to enter some food establishments? How does this work?

I have been playing with the mobile order, just to get an idea of what places I might want to grab something. I know I have seen on some locations where you can order an extra side. Is there a specific place that you are wanting to add a side and not seeing this option?

I am just curious which location since sometimes we just order side items for snack/meals.

To answer your question, you do not have to have a mobile order to enter but they greatly prefer you to. A register will always be open. If you don't see what you want on the mobile menu, you can order at the register like the old days (you'll just have a wait) or you can mobile order everything else and then stand in line for whatever else you need after you get your food. We have forgotten things before and just gone back up to the register and ordered more.

I see Docking Bay 7 has Mac and Cheese. It's not a separate menu item but it's listed as a side on one of the kids' plates. I'd like to ask for just mac and cheese. I've seen a couple other examples but that's the one I think of right now.

We do not do much QS, but in December we were not permitted to enter Pinocchio's until MDE showed our order was ready. A CM at the door was checking and made people wait outside the restaurant.
