Adding extra person to room?

I just booked us for one night at the Royal Pacific. I used Orbitz to book. We will have 2 people staying in the room. I was going to book the reservation as 3 people staying (our friend lives in Orlando and we were going to get him an Express Pass through the hotel), but Orbitz wanted to charge me an extra $20 or so. I don't see where Royal Pacific charges for additional people like this. Does anyone know if I can call Royal Pacific directly to add him to the room free of charge?

Go to their website and get a rate for 2 then for 3. The difference in price, around $25, is the extra guest charge.
