Right, I am rubbish at the ap rules so have to ask you lovely lot the best way to work my next trip! I have had fab advice before from on here!
Seven people going, 4 have annual passes, One adult and three children (17, 14, and 12) all four passes are dream bought with family discount and don't say adult or child just show he price. One adult and two kids (14 and 11) without passes.
Just looking to go overnight for a birthday surprise, which I know is expensive. I have got a price of €154 for one adult at Cheyenne. 11th march. Does anyone have any tips for the best way to do it? :confused3

Book it then add up to another 3 people to the room fir city tax only at 99c each to get breakfast too.
You will get a park ticket for non ap holders ie the 11 and 14 year old.
Also ring disney ask for the ap room discount you don't pay the city tax that way or cc fee but non ap holders don't get a park ticket.
We have booked ap room twice so far as cheaper than package price but as a norm package price cheaper.
If I where you I would go for it I paid £150 for a night at the Cheyenne we are doing good on the euro at the min.

so do you definitely only want to stay onsite? how many days park tickets will the non-AP holders want?

eta - if you can go a little earlier (before 8th March) you could use your APs to get the non-AP holders park tickets for only 29euros each day -

Thank you :)
I will def book to go at that price! Just a case of figuring most cost effective way for my cousin and his kids to come with us.
So if I booked a room in my name then he booked another room in his name and his youngest daughters name, (under 12s go free also) is that all of us covered?
Can his eldest use the park ticket that I would get from booking a package in my name, I would be using my annual pass so wouldn't need it, or is that not allowed? Can I add her to my room and just pay room tax or do I have to book her the normal way?
Then kids with passes would be added in and would be paying tax for them.
Hope that I haven't made that complicated!
Congratulations if you understand it :rotfl2:

yes, as you say your cousin's eldest child can use the park ticket which comes with your room, there is no problem doing this (its what I usually do)

you can add her to your cousin's room at check-in if you want to, receptionist won't ask, and won't care, what kind of park ticket/AP she has. As she's 14, you'll have local tax to pay for her, and also the 3 kids on your room.

Then kids with passes would be added in and would be paying tax for them.

yes, I think you have it sorted :thumbsup2.

Yes book one room in your name, then give that ticket to your cousins DD. Book another room in your cousins and her youngest daughters name, the she will get the free child's ticket. At check in add your 3 children to your room and her oldest daughter to your cousins and pay the room tax. Make sure they change the easy pass to show how many are in the room so you don't have any problems with EMH, breakfast or using the pool if you have one. :thumbsup2
