Does anyone know a price range for adding extra nights on? We were thinking of doing a Deluxe resort and a Navigator Verandah room which looks to be between $1200-$2200/person. Does anyone know about how much it is to add extra land days? Do you just pay the normal rate for the resort for those nights or is it a discounted amount? Is it possible to add extra sea days? (dumb question, I know) Never cruised DCL before, thinking of trying a family trip next fall.

Thanks :teeth:

You can add as many days on before or after your cruise. You just book everything seperate. You'll get a much better rate on the hotel doing it this way anyway.

We our spending 6 days at the OKWest before our cruise.

Can't add extra sea days (wish you could)

I have added on extra days befor and after, depending on how many days you want and if you want park tickets try asking for the add on and then pricing it seperately , you might have a discount code for the extra nights at the resort which can help.
For park tickets you can buy single park day tickets or park hopper passes or a lenght of stay pass.

Lets say your package starts Saturday and you want to add two
more days. You arrive on Thursday and pay for two extra nights
at the resort plus park tickets for Friday. Because you are arriving
afternoon on Thursday you don't want to buy tickets for that day.

This is just an example, but if you want a week or more at the park first you would probably be better of buying the sea part of the trip seperatly and booking the resort stay on its own. Price it each way, the time of year you are going matters.

Hope this helps some

Thanks for the help. It's good to know that you can do this :) I just feel like 4 days at WDW isn't enough sometimes :teeth:

The 1st time we cruised (2 years ago) I started out with a land sea package but soon found out that it's much cheaper and you can be more flexible if you book both parts separately. We found a great TA who was able to get us a great rate Poly concierge and category 6 on the ship. We used Happy Limo to get to and from the airport/wdw/port. It was so good we just repeated the trip last month.

Check into booking separately, then you can choose how long you want to stay at wdw and you aren't tied to a hotel category you may not want.

We've done the same thing. The first time we did land/sea, we added one day at the beginning so that we wouldn't waste the first 1/2 day on our UPH tickets while traveling. The second time, we added three days at the beginning (we had my FIL with us and he had never been to WDW) and two days after, since it was just too depressing to go right home after the cruise.

Last year we added two days at the beginning since we were had my son and his family with us and we wanted to spend some time with them before my SIL and her family arrived. Then we added six days after--two with son and his family, and then four nights for DH and me to relax and enjoy the world (and our new AP's).

This time, because of the discount emails and codes and our AP's, it's much cheaper to book everything separately--six nights at Pop Century for us and four for my son and his family, plus a four night cruise for us in a Cat. 7 is still costing less than last year's trip!

I'm doing a 3 day land 4 day sea package this coming May and I'm adding on 3 nights in WDW first because we haven't been in 2 years (by then it will be almost 3) and because I can't just do WDW in 3 days! I tried to book seperately but it wasn't less expensive for where I want to stay so I ended up booking it as a package and then I'll wait for discounts on the room and buy 2 single day passes. One day we'll be doing Discovery Cove so I don't need a tix for that day.

Can't wait to go.

We also added an extra night to our Land/Sea. We booked 4 night land 3 night sea. In our case, it was cheaper to book it as a package.

Have fun on your trip,
Tink
