Adding express pass to tickets

I did a search for the answer but no luck.

Some friends of mine are going to florida for the first time end of July, they are staying in a villa and have bought 14 day tickets from attraction tickets in the uk (i think) but they have asked me if they are able to add the express pass once they get to universal - i am assuming yes but have only ever bought my tickets at the gate and only added express once.

Also are there different kinds of express pass? one that lets you on rides as many times as you want for example?

stay onsite for the unlimited usage of the express lines.

buy single day/park express pass.
one time usage only per ride/show

buy the ticket w/express pass. (might be called vip ticket/pass)
cost based on day and park.
unlimited usage.

since your friends have already purchased their tickets, they can buy the express pass per park for the days they need them.
