say I have $200 in ticketless travel funds and the new flights that I want to purchase cost $180. If I add EBCI to the purchase, will SW take the two $10 fees for EBCI out of my TTF's or will they then make me pay for EBCI with my credit card, so I will still end up having a $20 credit with SW? I'm just trying to use up a $20 credit with SW, that I don't think I'll use otherwise.

I had to cancel a flight and used the credit to re-book. I picked the new flight for $104 + $10 in taxes/fees and confirmed it. On the next screen I chose EBCI which added $10 to the total due and used $124 of my $144 credit to pay.

I used the rest of the credit against a ticket for my daughter and the process was pick flight and confirm, go to payment screen #1, add EBCI, continue and apply credit, pay remainder with credit card, and get asked if I need hotel or car rental.

So it did let you use TTF's to purchase the ticket and the EBCI?

I would have to cancel the flights I have now, because when I did change the flights, it never gave me the option to add EBCI.

I just didn't want to go through the hassle of cancelling and then rebooking just to have SW tell me I need to use a credit card to purchase the EBCI portion. :rotfl:

Yes, EBCI is now the first item under the price confirm on page 2 of the booking process. You click Yes and it updates the price to add $10. You then can apply credits and pay the difference in a credit card section if the credits don't cover it. My transaction wasn't a re-book though, so I didn't see those screens to know what they look like.

I tried it and it didn't let me apply the TTF's to the EBCI portion. :sad2:

The screen said that it couldn't apply TTF's to EBCI, that I would have to purchase them with a credit card. Oh well, it was a worth a shot...;) I kind of figured that would be the case...

I tried to use credits to purchase EBCI on existing tickets and it provided no way for me to use the credits, only to enter a credit card. I opted not to do so and will check in at 24 hours. These extra fees are absurd but tried since I had the credit already.

it stinks that I have a $40 credit that would be perfect for EBCI for my husband and I, but alas, I'm not allowed to use it...:rotfl:
