Adding Disney Dining Plan to Reservation

What is the latest a dining plan can be added to a DVC reservation booked on points?

We added the Quick Service Dining Plan to our July 13th check-in this past Saturday and the Member Services Representative confirmed that it still must be added 48-hours prior to check-in.
