Adding Dining Plan after the fact?

Does the Dining Plan need to be purchased before your 45 day PIF date? Or can you add it to a package closer to your arrival date or when you arrive?

You can add a dining plan IF you have a vacation package, but it must be ordered more than 3 days before you arrive. If you add it less than 45 days before arrival, the full amount would be due at the time of booking.
