Adding DDP after final payment date

Is this something you are able to do? We've been back and forth about adding the DDP and have decided to bite the bullet and do it. However, with the terrible current exchange rate on the Canadian dollar it would be nice to wait a while to spread out the payments. For my current MYW package I have September 2 as my final payment date but the trip isn't until mid-October. Can I add DDP on after September 2?

You can add the dining planup to 72 hours before arrival. After your final payment date, the full amount will be due when you make the change. Technically, there's a fee for making a change after the final payment date, but that's waived when the total cost increases. Within the last few days (I think it's within two weeks), there's a $15 expedite (processing) fee.

Yes you can! I've done it just a few days before check in. If Disney gets more money out of you, they sorta waive the penalties for late changes.
