Adding days to tickets

Can you add days to an existing Park Hopper ticket?

I have an AP and the rest of the family got 7 day PHP passes in Dec. We stayed 5 days in Dec and we are returning for 5 days in June. We are going to use the existing pluses for 2 days at the water parks, but wanted to add a day to the park hopper part so that we would have 3 park days on the PH.

Has anyone done this, or will I just have to get a one day, one park ticket for the 3rd park day?

Hey Neighbor, I am in Round Rock. I think you can, sort of, but use the pluses first because you otherwise lose them. Details are on the www.mousesavers.com website

You cannot "add a day" to a ticket. What you would need to do is trade in those tickets and use the credited dollar value towards a new one. Since this can only be done at Guest Relations at WDW, you are limited to getting what is offered for general public sale. In your case the smallest PHP ticket you could get would be a 5 day PHP.

This would leave you two leftover unused park days that would be good until your next trip. If the price or having the two unused days doesn't fit into your trip budget, then you are looking at buying a one park ticket for the third day.

Keep in mind also that if you trade in the old ticket with unused plusses on it, you will lose those plus options. You would only get what normally comes with the new PHP, not the total of your old plusses and the new ones.

I'll second GoldenOldie's suggestion of just getting a One Day, One Park pass. Unless you REALLY need to hop on all three park days, you'll probably be throwing money out the window by upgrading.
