If I buy tickets at the Disney store can I add days to them when Im at Disney? If you can add days do you have to do it the first day or can it be done at any time? If I use all my days on my ticket card and decide Id like to go to the MK one more day can I add that day at the cheaper price?

Gosh did I say all that right? lol

TIA

Yes you can. You can add days on any tickets either before they are used or within 14 days of first use of the ticket.

You can't wait until all your days are gone, and then add another day, even within the 14 day timeframe. I'm fairly sure there has to be at least one day left on your ticket when you decide to upgrade it.

So if I bought 7 day ticket w/no exp. in 2005 and still have 2 or 3 days left (I am not sure how many days are left). When I get to POP in Feb 2007 I can add days on our tickets for a discounted price? :cool1: :thumbsup2 :cheer2:

No you can't. The adding days can only be done within 14 days of first use. It does not matter that you have no expiration on them. That only means that the days you have unused will not expire, not that you can add more days later.

There does not need to be anything left on it. Unlike the old PH/PHP's that required you to have at least a day remaining because the ticket would then be dead after the last day was used, the MYW ticket has a life of 14 days after first use before it is dead. You most definitely can add days to a completely used MYW ticket as long as it is done within 14 days from first use. After the 14 days, the ticket becomes dead unless you added the no expiration option.

Thanks for all the info. I e-mailed Disney the same question worded much better. I e-mailed them 10/26. I hope to hear from them soon!

The women at the Disney Store, where we usually get our tickets do not know anything! I think they should know this kind of stuff! If they are going to sell tickets, they should know.

They didnt know about any of the new shows or attractions. They told me things change so much down there we dont even try to keep up.

I guess if I was working at the Disney Store Id scare people with all my info!!
LOL :confused3

Ill post when I get the e-mail from them.

First of all, they did not answer all of my questions. I am slightly upset about that. This is what they did say...

Dear Laura,

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World Resort.

Advance purchase Savings prices are available on the 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 day Magic Your Way tickets that include the Park Hopper Option and/or the Water Park Fun & More Option. One to three day ticket prices are the same online as they are at the gate.

All ticket upgrades must be done in person, and prior to expiration.
Please present your tickets at any theme park Guest Relations window for assistance. The representative you speak with at that time will be happy to evaluate your situation, explain your options, and complete the appropriate transaction.

We look forward to your visit.

If you have questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact us.

Please include your full name, E-Mail address, and reservation number if applicable on all correspondence.

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Ronda Kendall

I asked them if we could add days to our passes if we bought them at the Disney Store at our local mall? Will it be the same price quoted on-line?
Im guessing you can as long as you do it before they expire???

I also think you can only take the ticket back up to 10 days. If you bought a 7 day pass, the most you can add is 3 more days, even if you have already used a few days.

You got the predictable stock answer of present your tickets at any theme park Guest Relations window for assistance. They won't give specific answers to any situation because there are just too many ticketing variables for them to go over. Don't fret, you'll be able to do it. ;)

And AJKMOM is correct. You cannot exceed a total of 10 park days on any ticket.
