Just got a quote from a TA for next year. We're planning on staying 14 nights. The quote includes Magic Your Way tickets for 10 days. Is 10 days enough? We also have the water parks etc added and we're also planning on going to Universal for a day or 2.
Should we have more days on our Magic Your Way ticket? Id it possible to add days later on?

Just noticed the TA got our dates wrong. She put them in for this year rather than next year!
I want to book! But can't get seem the quote I need.

I think 10 days is plenty, don't forget you will have rest days as well!
Might be an idea to look around at different companies for the tickets, as it might be cheaper than your travel agents.

10 days will probably be enough but I am assuming that you are getting a quote through a US travel agent as you have the 10 day MYW and they are not avaliable to buy in the UK unless you go through a US based agent. ;)

You can not add anymore days on to a 10 day MYW ticket that is the maximum.

You might want to consider a 14 day Ultimate Ticket as you get unlimited access to everything for the 14 consecutive days. This has the advantage of if you go elsewhere one day you can still pop into the parks for fireworks etc without using a whole day from our tickets.:goodvibes

I just don't know where to book at the moment, it's all to confusing. Currently I'm considering these 2 options:

Direct with Disney UK: I got a price for a 14 night stay with the 14 Ultimate ticket that I think is very reasonable. It doesn't include the DDP yet, but this can be added later. Assuming the prices will rise slightly for next year, I still end up with a deal I find reasonable.

US Travel Agent: She can't give me a correct price yet. She can book room only based on this year's prices and adjust them when the 2008 prices are released. Adding Magic Your Way Tickets and DDP when possible.

My dilemma: With Disney UK I know how much it's all going to be now (give or take a few ££ for the DDP), I can book straight away and everything will be sorted. And it's also ABTA proctected. With th US TA I'm kind of booking in the dark. I don't know the prices, but it may be cheaper as they may be able to apply a AAA discount, the exchange rate may be more favourable and if other discounts come up, they may be able to apply them. That's a lot of "may be".

This is doing my head in! I want to book so I can things sorted. With my job I need to plan vacations very very early (as soon as possible). But I don't want to miss out on serious discounts by booking in the US.
Also, as you mention Elise, I can get a 14 day ticket from the UK. We probably won't go every day but as the idea that we could go to a park just for the fireworks or to go eat there (there are so many places at Epcot I want to try), is very attractive and leaves us with a lot of flexibility.
Also, how come Disney UK can give me an exact price already and Disney US can't???
:crazy2:
