Adding celebration to ADR ?

DH loves all things Contemporary and dreams of staying there, hopefully we will in 2014-2015. For our upcoming trip this October, I booked a Chef Mickey's late breakfast so DH could enjoy some time in CR and watch the monorail like he did as a kid.

DH turns 40 in late Aug. Would it seem odd to add a birthday celebration to our reservation in early Oct? What does that involve? Can you get a small cake or cupcakes pre-arranged for the table?

It's not odd at all--in fact, Disney is used to people celebrating before or after their actual day. Have fun!!!!!
