I have a trip coming up in a few months and we decided we wanted to try and add an extra night. Is it possible to do this without calling? I looked on the app and didn't see any options, I haven't tried the website yet. I know phone lines have had hour long waits lately so doing it online would be much easier.

Earlier this week I had same issue for my trip that had been scheduled to end 4/30 - I wanted to end 5/1 (1 additional night). I started out online and unfortunately when I got to the add part the same type of room (king preferred) was not available. At that point I could have just booked and paid for a night anywhere but I figured I'd call - got the message that they were experiencing super long delays of like 90 minutes but figured it was worth a try. Waited about 50 minutes until a wonderful castmember came on.
I did have to make a separate reservation for a King standard room but still staying at Coronado springs. When I check in I will stop at the desk and see if they can keep me in same room - I've done that with success a few times.

We called in Feb to add a day. Sometimes it's just better to lose 2 hours of your life to get it done right.

You should be able to modify your reservation online, if you booked directly with Disney. But, it will depend if the same resort/room type is available for the new night AND the entire stay. There can be situations where it's not available for all nights to add to your existing reservation, but is still available to add as a separate reservation like Goldiepack was able to do above.

I called today to do this - it wasn’t a long wait.
