Adding adult to room??

Need help figuring out what to do. Me and dd traveling and meeting my dad (Florida resident) so I was just going to have him stay w us. How can I add him so that we don't have problems without adding him to the overall reservation? Anyone ever experience this?

If you mean you want to add him to a package without getting him the package tickets etc, add him at the front desk after you arrive. I am assuming your daughter is under 18; if that is so, there will be no extra adult charge for him if he is only the 2nd adult in the room.

I am doing the exact same thing. I am adding my Mom when we get there. If I added her into my reservations, she would have had to purchase park tickets through the package and not gotten the Florida discount. The 2nd agent that I spoke to actually took note of this and actually advised me to add her when we get there. I'm not sure about the dining plan-if that applies. I was going to add it but then didn't want my Mom to have to get it too if she didn't choose to do so.

You can add the DDP to your package without your mom having to get it. If you added her now, she would have to be on the same package as everyone else in the room, but adding her at check in will avoid having to do that. The DDP must be added at least 3 days prior to check in, so waiting until you arrive to put her on the ressie will allow her to pay for her meals OOP and purchase her park tickets separately .

You if you do want dining plan for all of you you could also have the package with the bare minimum of tickets then just upgrade the tickets at guest services to the number of day you each would need.
