Adding a second room if PIN is expired?

We booked AKL for August and the PIN is long expired. We decided we want a second room. Can I add that to our existing ressie at the PIN rate?

I tried to add another room with free dining that had an expired pin, I was able to add the room but not free dining.

No. You can switch to a suite that will fit everybody but you can not add a second room since that would be a new reservation.
