I've been reading about some DISers being able to make changes to ressies after the promotion they originally booked under, have expired. On a related note:
Has anyone been able to add a *room* to their ressie (booked with a discount offer which has expired)?
Has anyone been able to add a *day* in the same circumstances?
Since I've got concierge services with my ressie, should I try asking them, or just calling CRO and asking for Guest Services to try my luck?
(The reason: It turns out my aunt is coming, with her granddaughter, and so the best I could get them was a rack rate, MYW with dining for a Garden Wing - standard view. They're paying more than we are, for our deluxe room (used to be called a mini-suite?) in the Wing, with concierge service. It would be great if I could just (a) book two rooms with the same details; (b) better yet if I could add a night to extend the trip a bit. Four nights seems awfully short for this trip; our original plans included potentially driving down, and definitely having time out at Cocoa Beach/KSC.)

They are booked solid and no "standard" rooms are available at AKL on that date. Checked with reservations first and then got transferred to guest relations; no availability was the outcome of my call.
Oh well, i can rough it and stay at a Value resort for one night.
She told me that the previous CM told me NO, there are NO rooms, why did I make her send me to guest services? Oh boy! She checked anyway and said see, NO rooms. Gotta love those grumpy CM's...wish I could've smacked her with a wand of pixie dust LOL
