Adding a room for privacy.

I booked one room at POFQ for myself, girlfriend and her sister to share. Thinking it would save us money. Which is true. Now I'm doubting whether I could handle the sister that much that often.
We booked under free dining.

I'm wondering now if I can book her another room with the room only discount code and leave the original booking unchanged.

That would allow us to have privacy and all still maintain the benefits of the promotion. Of course this would cost more but it's my vacation too.

Sure you can but it's gonna cost your gf's sister Rack rate for however many nights you are going. If you are going for 7 nights/$200 night. It will cost her approx $1400 extra. The benefit to FD is to have more people in the room because they all get FD.

This is a tough one; FD with more adults gives you the best bang for your buck.

I have been solo many times and a room discount always works better.

Your original booking will eliminate the extra adult charge per night of $15.00, but booking a separate room will be significantly higher, because essentially a single person pays 175% of double occupancy.

Maybe you can help defray her room with your FD savings or she can find a friend to split the costs.

There is a room only promo right now. Not sure on availbily. Or switch to a value family suite and upgrade dining. Or be celibate for a week and save money :)

Well...some CMs will tell you that a person cannot be booked into 2 separate rooms unless it's an occupancy situation like a family with several children. My husband and I had FD booked for 7 nights and tried to squeeze a 1 night CL in between, but the CMs wouldn't let us. I didn't get it since we were paying for both rooms, but perhaps it was because both room fell under a promotion. Who knows.

I think you can get away with it as long as you put different lead names on the reservations...

Thanks all. I looked into Value suites but it seems I was too late to take advantage of the free dining promo offered for those rooms.
It would be significantly more ($1000 for the 5 nights) to even try and book her a room with the room-only discount. Even if it was possible.
Once I discovered suites I started looking at Villas. Someone needs to pry this computer away from me.

Give her $500 and tell her to go have a good time with it. Problem solved :)

I totally understand how you feel. I wouldn't want to have my SIL stay in the same room as me & my husband. It would be uncomfortable for me.
