Adding a person to an ADR

we managed to get all of our top ADR’s reserved for our trip in June, but at the time there were 3 of us going and now there are 4 of us. Of course, now most aren’t available

We tried just canceling one of our ADR’s and immediately rebooking with 4 instead of 3, but even though the ADR popped up right away it would only let us book for 3 people (wouldn’t do 2 or 4, just 3 Lol)

Is there any way to make this fox without just waiting and hoping something pops up?

I would plan to check in to reservations early and note the extra person. Some locations may be better able to accommodate you than others.

What are the chances that would work at Trader Sam’s? It seems like any table that seats 3 could seat 4, but I know that one gets crowded.

When completing the mobile check-in for table service reservations previously, I've been give the option to add 1 diner to the reservation. Agree with @Federalist45 that it may vary by location and I don't have first hand experience with Trader Sam's.

We are a party of 3, and I can't remember a time at DLR that we have not been seated at a four top. You will most likely be okay everywhere since most places will be seating you at a 4 seat table anyway. We don't have any experience dining at Trader Sam's though. We grab drinks there at night on the way up to the room.

You will not have an issue adding a 4th person to your reservation. When you check-in through the app, it will ask how many are in your party. You can then update that number from 3 to 4.
