Adding a Person to a Reservation

We have all of our ADRs in place for our upcoming trip. Each of them are for 3 people. Just learned that my other daughter will be able to join us for a few days of our stay. This was great news! Didn't see that I could change the reservations on line so I called Disney Dining assuming adding a 4th person would be no problem since table would, I thought, be the same for 3 or 4. The lady I spoke to, however, explained that the System tries to rebook a reservation for the new number of guests and there was nothing available for any of the restaurants I was trying.

So my question is has anyone showed up for their dining reservation at someplace like Le Cellier or Cali Grill with an extra person? If so, were they able to accommodate you?

Thanks for any advice.

I think the tables are for 4. I am sure it would not be a problem. I would just go and see. You can call back dining and ask if they have any reservations for 1 around the same time as you then ask to be seated together. I know we did this once. Hope this helps. Michelle

We showed up with an extra person at most of our reservations last year (MIL decided to join us last minute - surprise!). We tried adding her to our ADRs and they said NOTHING was available. However when we showed up with a party of 5 instead of 4, they were all understanding and we were not turned away from any resturant.

MOST tables are for even numbers of diners. Bring the fourth person, you should be accommodated. Note, though, that 'Ohana (for example) actually has some tables for only three.
