There is a chance i may be adopting a baby in January. I do not know if the bio mom is going to give it up yet. we will be going on a cruise october 2006. how far in advance do i need to add the baby and will the baby need a passport?

Do you have all eight of you booked right now and in how many rooms? That would make a huge difference. If you have eight people and two rooms for four booked, then the infant would necessitate the need for another room.

As long as your room can accomidate another passenger, then you can add the baby at any time. You will need the baby's birth certificate.

I am cruising In Oct of this year and I just booked last week. If that helps...

It depends on the cruise and how full the ship is. Example Christmas 2005 cruise, there will be 5 (3 Adults 2 children) of us (2 CAT 9 room). I called to find out if I need to cancel one adult, can I change into one room? I was told no, because of capacity and so if I cancel one adult, I will still have two rooms.

We do not currently have 8. We only have 2 Foster DD right now. HOWEVER...sad to say even if they are still with us they will not be able to go :( the state of Tennessee says we can not take them out of the country. oh well... we just found out that the baby we MIGHT adopt is a boy!!!!!
