Adding a night question???

We currently have our vacation planned with a free dining discount for July 18-23. We have decided to add an additional night to the beginning of our stay. My question is, does anyone know if we can add the night to our existing reservation and will we get free dining with that added night??? Also, if we have to make a separate reservation, what are the odds of being able to be placed in the room that our original reservation is for??? In other word, will we have to stay in one room one night, and have to move to a different room for the rest of our stay?? Has anyone done this before?

With a package, you can only add a day to the package if the entire number of nights is available as a new booking. I would suggest you call and try but consider just booking a room in the same exact category for your first night. Have the rep note on both reservations that it is a continuing reservation.

It is in Disney's business interest (less time to clean a current guest room vs preparing for new guests) to try to keep you in the same room if at all possible but the final decision will not be known until after you check-in.

The system wasn’t letting my post go through, but apparently they all finally posted. I kept receiving an error. Is there a way to delete them?? ..... thank you for the response. I will try to call them and see what they can do
