Adding a iPod touch-how many users per account

We are getting my son an iPod Touch. Our family already has two iphones, another ipod touch, and two old nano's on our account. I want my son to be on this account because he has bought a lot of movies and applications that are now on my phone that he is going to put on his touch. (woo hoo!!)

Is there a limit to how many devices or users can be attached to a iTunes account. Can you delete a device from your account?

If you have multiple accounts, you can share all your movies, songs and apps. Dh and I each have our own iTunes acct but we buy different apps and we just share them if he wants one of my apps or if I want one of his. That way we won't need to purchase duplicates.

How do you share them on different accounts? DH and I both have different accounts but if he plugs his ipod touch into my computer we get a prompt that says if he syncs with my account it will erase all the data on his ipod touch?

Set your devices to sync manually, not automatically. Then, when you plug them in, you can select the items you want on your particular device.

I know you can only have 5 computers authorized on 1 iTunes account, but don't know if this restriction applies to other devices (i.e. iPods & iPhones). Here are instructions on how to deauthorize a computer, but again don't know if same rules apply to other devices using iTunes.

You can have 5 computers linked to each ITunes account, but I know you can sync multiple devices with 1 account. I teach 5th grade and wrote a grant where each of my students uses an IPod Touch (25 of them). All of them are linked to the same account.
