Adding a DDP to a room booked with AP and one more question.

Does adding the ddp to a room booked with an AP make it a package? The reason I ask is because we are dvc and have that room wait listed up until a week before we check in. If the wait list comes through, I will need to cancel the room booked with the AP discount. How late can I add the ddp to avoid trouble? If that isn't complicated enough....we have an additional night at the same resort booked with DVC points. Is it possible for me to add two different dining plans ( QS and then Deluxe) but still link those reservations so that we don't have to move rooms?

Adding DDP does make it a package, so you will have to pay in full 30 days out (or when you add ddp, if less than 30 days). Unless it has changed since the end of the year, ddp could be added up until 2 days before check in. Split stay should allow you to book 2 different plans.

Thanks. I just got off the phone with DVC member services, turns out CRO was wrong and I can not link these reservations. I will just have to hope that we don't have to move rooms:(
