I have a aaa package booked/paid for our trip in less than two weeks. Before booking and within the few days after I tell hubbie several times that dd has the friday before off school. He never even really acknowledges me. I'm trying to determine the point where heading out is too late to get close enough to disney to be at paks at open on our 'first' day. So, I ask him again today what time he thinks he will be able to get off work so I can get an idea of if we make it by this time....And he tells me he may not go in at all that day. Even if we cant stay at Disney that night, I'd love to get all the way to orlando and check out the outlet and stay somewhere close but chances are I can get a room somewhere onsite although I'd have to change rooms the next day.
So My question....If he comes home thursday night and says he isnt going in to work on Friday, can I actually change my ressie to include Friday night. We are on the dining plan so It would be nice to go ahead and add to get those extra credits...Since my plan already has me using 8 extra credits lol. But to do that I'd have to extend my package because no way i'm buying a 1 day ticket per person. Also I wouldnt mind paying the extra 8 dollars (if we get in early enough and rested enough) to see illuminations that night...then take a shorter day the next day.
Last year our 'touring plan' was parks about 8 hours a day split into to segments with a nap in between and 2 of the 8 days we only hit the park for a few hours in the afternoon. Other than sore feet I didnt feel over tired. I Really like the Idea of having extra days to work with a few hours that day so a few less another day.
