Adding a day to my tickets before arriving at WDW

You can add another day to your tickets prior to arrival, but only if you purchased them as part of a package (room plus tickets). If you purchased your tickets separately (even if you get them on the Disney website), they won't let you add another day until you arrive.

We did a room-only resort reservation, because my friend has an annual pass and did't need tickets. So I bought my ticket as a separate transaction ,but realized after I purchased it tat I should have added another day.

I tried to add another day, plus park-hopping, to my tickets prior to arrival for my trip in February. I called and talked to Disney, and they told me I couldn't add anything until after I arrived because I purchased my tickets separately (through Disney), not as part of a package. What a pain! The ticket prices went up the day I arrived, so I had to pay the higher price!
