Adding a day to my ticket

Can someone please explain how this works? I f buy a 4 day ticket for $1,256 (for my family of 4) and decide when we are there that we want to add a day how much extra do you have to pay. The price of a 5 day ticket is $1,299.

Providing there hasn't been a price increase in the meantime, you just pay the difference.

Current price for days 5-10 is $10+tax per ticket to add 1 day. Normally I say skip buying them earlier but with fastpass and crowds, it might be worth the $40 to just add it now and get more fastpasses before your there.
