Adding a celebration question...

My wife and I will be celebrating our tenth wedding anniversary in June of next year . We have been together for 16 years. We started dating when I was a freshman in HS. Does anyone other than my wife think 6 months early is too early to add an anniversary celebration to our reservation? I was thinking about surprising her with it, but was looking for some opinions first.

Celebrate what you want! Sometimes we can't actually go on vacation during the time of the actual event.

My DH and I went on our "honeymoon" in June 2008 and we were married in January 2004. We simply could not take that special trip when we first got married.
