Finally Done!!!

2 days and counting!!!!

I just wanted to thank the disigners for helping me with all of the cool disigns. My family is so excited to go to Disney again!!!

OK---Last ones: Found these shirts at Kohl's and liked the sleeves! We leave in 2 days!!!!!

These are the guys shirts for Family Day

These are for the girls...they are actually hot pink...not red!!!

Very cute shirts!

I've been reading the tips on making these, and really want to try my hand at making some of these. My question are these: (if you don't mind answering... )

1. Did you use light or dark transfer paper?

2. What brand transfers did you use?

I used both light and dark transfer paper. Light on the white and gray shirts and dark on the others.

For the light transfers I used the Avery brand (got it at Walmart). For the dark, I ordered from disboarder AmyMickey (www.amymickey.com). I love hers. I have used the Avery brand dark transfers, but they just aren't as good!

Seems like you're ahead of schedule (at least compared to me.) I'm often making 40 shirts or so less than a week before our trips!

The shirts look very nice. Be careful not to make the shirts the same. A long as each shirt is a one-of-a-kind, Disney cannot get on you for using their characters without paying for licensing.
I hope your trip is wonderful and warm enough to wear the shirts.

I know that the soccer is from Tebi73. I am trying to find the Club Penguin designer....it was someone that had tons of Mickey Heads with characters. I will keep looking, but I can also email them to you if you would like.

As for the number of shirts....I know last year I made some for my entire family one day and I have done the same for this year (group of 20). I have seen a lot of pics of families doing that....is that a violation?

I believe if I'm not mistaken... as long as it's a shirt you made yourself and made NO profit off of it.. by being paid by family for the shirts you made for them... there is no violation for it. Only if a profit is being made.. then it's a problem. But I could be wrong!

Quick question. On the Mickey heads with the name fills underneath, did you trim around each letter on the dark transfers?
They all look AWESOME btw!

Yes, I did trim around the letters. I printed them off in two rows so they could be bigger, then cut around each letter so that you couldn't see the white of the transfer paper around the names.
