Added Nexus Interview slots in Toronto Oct14-31

All - If you have recently applied for a Nexus card and wanted to schedule an interview at Pearson, there are currently many slots available between Oct 15-31. They have opened a temporary screening area to get through a backlog of applicants. I just booked my appointment today for two weeks from now. If you already have a later appointment booked you may want to log on and reschedule. Just use the location: 2935 Toronto Pearson International Airport, Convair Drive Mississauga, ON

I was hoping to find a thread about Nexus. How long ago did you apply? We applied July 23rd and our applications still show "pending review". Apparently there is a delay of 6-8 weeks on top of the original 6-8 weeks.

For those of you who have already gone through the interview process - what should we expect?

We applied online through GOES on Sunday, September 7 and received our invitation to schedule an interview on Friday, October 3. I suspect they reviewed all applications in the Toronto area more quickly because of the backlog of applicants. They are doing these "blitz" interviews for about three weeks. Apparently they did something similar in Vancouver and were able to process over 14,000 applicants during that time.

My Brother in law said all they did was go over the exact same questions already on the appication. total time was 10 mins

Well that was absolutely painless. Barely a question asked other than reviewing the correct address/phone numbers. I was still sitting in the interview room when I got my email advising my application was approved. Now we wait for our NExus cards and we'll test them out first chance we get!

Have you received your cards yet? We have our interviews in a couple of weeks and I am hoping to have the cards in time for our Christmas trip. Is 7-10 days after the interview realistic?

We got our cards yesterday! THey came pretty quick. We received them on the 6th business day. Interview late on a Friday and we got the cards two Mondays later.
