When I did my trip planning and PS reservations a few weeks back, Fantasmic was only showing (on the schedule and per the CM at the planning phone) on the weekends beginning 8/28. Well, I just checked the park calendar and now Fantasmic is showing that whole week nightly (8/30-9/6). The planning office just called me this morning to say they purchased my tickets for me for PV for Fantasmic for Friday, 9/4. If I had known I would have probably picked a week day to see it, but I have dinner PS and the whole week planned out (like many of you super planners...I like to know what I'm doing before I go) - so changing it would be too confusing. I just find it is interesting that they are adding shows (that weren't listed a week or so ago).

Also, those of you who want to purchase PV and it's more than 30 days out....the CM at the planning phone said to give them your info and they will buy them at 8:00am the morning of the 30 day countdown (before the phone lines open). They called me to confirm my purchase at 8:15am. She said they at 99.99% guarenteed to get the ticket purchased for you if you give it to them in advance of the 30 day. I've always gotton up early the morning of the 30th day and called in.This morning the phone woke me up and it was "Disney" calling me!!!

The other interesting thing is the calander lists the show at 9:00pm and the park hours closing at 9:00pm that week. Is that an error??

I show that the hours for 8/30 are 8am to 11pm, 8/30-9/3 park hours are 9am to 9pm, 9/4 hours are 9am to 12am and 9/5 hours are 9:30am to 12am.

Show times for F! are 9 pm and 10:30 pm on the nights of the shows. They just updated Septembers calendar so maybe the closing times were updated?:confused3

Also it looks like Monday-Thursday there's only a 9 pm show then Friday-Sunday there are two shows one at 9pm and the other at 10:30pm

I noticed yesterday that Fantasmic as been added for my first day in the parks (3rd Sep) although it says at 9pm but the park is closing at 9pm :confused3

Disney does this all the time. Not really sure why, but scheduling Fantasmic for 9pm with a park closing time of 9pm is not a mistake. And hey, you get to stay in the park just a little bit longer!

Wish the show would be in production during our trip...

Oh so it is correct? im glad it's showing on the thursday of my trip then i hopefully won't have to deal with the larger weekend crowds wanting to watch it fri/sat or sun

Just some information on the September showing of Fantasmic...I called and asked if Fantasmic was showing on 8/31-9/1-9/2 and 9/3 and the answer is no. It will show on 9/4 through 9/7 and then it is dark for the rest of the month. You can email Disney and in a few days get an answer back...so I did email Disney earlier this week and just a few minutes ago received a nice email with the same information: So from two sources the same answer.

That's interesting. The official DL calendar here shows F! playing on Sept 11,12,13 (Fri-Sun). I hope your email is wrong. We're going end of Sept, and arriving on a Sunday so we can see F!

I heard that F! was going dark mid-Sep through Oct, which really makes me very sad!:sad2::sad1: F! is one of my must-do's and knowing that it may be dark while we are there just plain sucks! Does the show really need another refurb to get the stupid new dragon working already???

(sorry..... rant over now. :))
