Add the food plan on later?

Hi,

Does anyone know if you can add the food plan on to your package at a later date. I want to book my vacation for Oct and am not sure about the food plan yet so I would like to wait to add it on.

It can be added to the reservation anytime prior to arrival. It can not be added on once you arrive at the resort.

Is that right? I understood that the dining plan had to be added on to a package only. The way the OP asked the question I get the impression they want room-only ressies. Is this correct? I'm confused.
