Add QDSP to first two nights??

Here is the dilemma:

We have added two nights to our reservation at Pop Century room only.

1. Do we need to have tickets to add dining to our room reservation?

I know you need to for Free Dining.

2. If we do not need Park tickets, Is it worth it?

2 of us are arriving at Midnight on the 17th

2 of us are arriving at noon the next day on the 18th

We check out of Pop and check in to CBR on the 19th and we will be there until 31... so we could save the DxDP points for the longer part of our stay.

I know these points would expire midnight on the 19th, but technically Free Dining starts on 19th as well.

Unless you have an annual pass or are staying at a DVC resort on points, you need to purchase tickets as part of any package that includes dining.

I think you'd be better served putting some money on a gift card to cover those first couple of days, if you want the "pre-paid" aspect of QSDP. Having to buy a second set of tickets makes it completely not worthwhile.

Check in as early as you can on the 19th, so that all of your credits are available immediately.

If it's a different reservation, it also has to be a package to get dining, so you'd need at least a 1 day park ticket (2 days for free dining).

I have already budgeted out enough to prepay for food. I like the idea of gift cards.
